Your Welcome Hans
Please, don't hesitate to write if you have any remark for the project moodle4iPhone. You have a lot of good ideas about designing a mobile application.
Kind regards

Hello Frank,

I don't think I meant to say that Moodle was dying! Moodle will be around for many years to come. Same for Drupal. I am less sure about Sloodle, nor would I bet my money on Second Life being around in five years time.

Cheers,

Hans

Hello,

I'm writting from Peru (South American). I want to know if Moodle is dying then Sloodle is dying too?. Second Life and Drupal could be supplemented?

Regard

Thanks for the mention!

Your point is well taken, and also the placeholder for the Undercover UX book by Cennyd and James: http://undercoverux.com/

“Once you catch the user experience bug, the world changes. Doors open the wrong way, websites don’t work, and companies don’t seem to care. Fortunately, anyone can learn the UX remedies – usability testing, personas, prototyping and so on – but, unless your organization 'gets it', putting them into practice is trickier.”

Hi Hans,

Great write up about Learning Technologies 2010. I think you pretty much covered all the big news items of the day (although I'm sure there'll be lots who disagree!)

I also thought you touched on some interesting future discussion points around the topic of 'content developers' vs 'learning designers' and helped to highlight it as a communication issue for many in our industry ie. should they market themselves as learning designers or content developers. Learning designers sounds far more accountable and in many discussions I've had over the past few months, being more accountable, and thus providing something 'different', would help innovative companies really stand out.

In fact, Patrick Dunn's model really hits home on this point and you can see that over here, where the underlying themes of innovation, accountability and results are core principles.

On a completely different side note - did you manage to grab your own 30 day free trial of Thinking Worlds either at the event or from our website over at www.thinkingworlds.com?
